Established in 1993, ICON Central Laboratories’ global headquarters is located in Farmingdale, New York and consists of 114,000 square feet.

Our Dublin laboratory opened in 1995 and is located on the same site as ICON plc’s global headquarters. The facility was expaned in 2009 and now offers 41,000 sq ft (3,800m²)  of laboratory space, providing centralised testing and site support services to clinical investigators in over 70 countries throughout Europe, Middle East and Africa. New dedicated laboratories have also been created to accommodate more specialised testing services in the areas of anatomic pathology, molecular diagnostics and multiplex assays, which will be operational in early 2010.

ICON Central Laboratories Singapore opened in 2007 and has recently moved to a new facility that is 8,600 square feet in size. With the increased laboratory space, ICON Central Laboratories Singapore now offers an ehanced menu of offerings including esoteric tests in flow cytometry, molecular diagnostics and biomarkers to complement the services of our partner laboratories in the region. 
 

Our Bangalore laboratory opened in November 2008. It is a purpose-built, 15,000 square foot facility that offers a full range of testing capabilities and sample storage.

The newest addition to our global network of central laboratories, the China facility is located in Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area (TEDA) approximately 180 kilometers from Beijing and supports all sites in China.   Fulltime ICON staff are onsite with additional support from ICL’s Singapore laboratory.

Initial testing capabilities include chemistry, urinalysis, HbA1c, immunology, hematology, coagulation and endocrinology.
