Statistical Analysis
ICON’s Statistical Analysis groups provides pharmacoeconomic analyses, patient-reported outcome analyses, and observational data analyses. For each project, we develop and implement analysis plans with a methodological approach, timeline, and final deliverables that meet the needs of the designated target audience. We conduct statistical analyses on data generated from many types of studies, including: observational studies, retrospective analyses, and patient-reported outcomes studies. Balancing appropriate scientific rigor with the need for evolving exploratory investigations, ICON is able to develop analysis plans and work efficiently with clinical investigators to move from preliminary results to publication suitable analysis. The size and depth of the LSG statistical analysis group make us unique within the industry, with an ability to work on both small and large projects. We understand the pace of industry and the pace of academia, and we have consistently been able to meet aggressive publication targets. One of our registries had its 100th publication, while another recently reached 20. We have met goals ranging from a single abstract submission for a single study to more than 20 abstract submissions in one year. In order to meet these goals, the LSG Statistics group works hand in hand with clients’ publication teams, clinical scientists and academic investigators.
